Guidelines to running etherpad in production

I'm running and etherpad, but users are reporting some issues. Part of me wonders if the deployment is appropriate?

Settings are in settings.json and cover specific settings for how to run in production. For the most part Etherpad is geared up for production but you will want to set your environment variables accordingly :)
